Linear Corporation Berhad ("Linear" or "the Company") had, at its 14th Annual General Meeting ("AGM"), held on 30 June 2008, obtained renewal of the shareholders' mandate for its subsidiaries to enter into recurrent related party transactions of a revenue or trading nature ("the Shareholders' Mandate"). The Shareholders' Mandate shall lapse at the conclusion of the Company's forthcoming 15th AGM unless it is renewed.

Announcement Details :


The Board of Directors wishes to announce that the Company intends to seek shareholders' approval for renewal of the Shareholders' Mandate at the forthcoming 15th AGM to be held not later than 30 June 2009 ("the Proposed Shareholders' Mandate").

A Circular To Shareholders setting out the details of the Proposed Shareholders' Mandate will be sent to shareholders in due course.
